Feast of Saint Josemaría 2013

June 26th, the anniversary of Saint Josemaría's death in 1975, is now his feast day. Masses will be celebrated in many cities around the U.S.

Archbishops Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles, J. Peter Sartain of Seattle, and Gustavo Garcia-Siller of San Antonio will be the principal celebrants of the Masses in their respective cities. Archbishop John J. Myers of Newark will celebrate the Mass in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York.

Other bishops celebrating commemorative Masses for St. Josemaría this year include: David J. Malloy, Bishop of Rockford, Illinois; Edward M. Rice, Auxiliary Bishop of St. Louis; Mark Seitz, Bishop of El Paso, Texas; Ronald Gainer, Bishop of Lexington, Kentucky; Cirilo Flores, Coadjutor Bishop of San Diego; and George A. Sheltz, Auxiliary Bishop of Galveston-Houston, Texas.

Dates and times for some of the commemorative Masses are listed below. The interactive map on the St. Josemaría Institute website has a more complete listing.
